Respect Lore (with Flexibility):Staying within FFXIV’s established lore is encouraged, but lore-bending (au ra hybrids, voidsent corruption, etc.) is welcome as long as it doesn’t disrupt immersion and/or distrubt the harmony of Kagami no Mori.
Consent in Conflict: Death requires OOC consent from all parties. Surprise fights or heavy themes should always be discussed beforehand privately.
Keep It Believable: Power-gaming (forcing actions on another without consent) or god-modding (making your character unrealistically powerful) isn’t allowed. Give space for others to respond and contibute to a scene.
Respect Everyone: Discrimination, harassment, or hate speech of any kind will not be tolerated. Treat others with courtesy, regardless of character alignment IC (within discretion).
No Drama-Dumping: IC drama stays IC. If you have a problem OOC, talk privately to the person you are having issues with. Should it extend beyond that, reach out to officership. Don’t air personal disputes in public spaces.
Immersion in Shared Spaces: When in RP-designated channels or venues, stay IC. Keep OOC chatter in brackets ((like this)) or to OOC spaces.
Communication is Key: If a scene or storyline makes you uncomfortable, speak up. Consent and boundaries matter just as much OOC as IC.
21+ Years of Age: Self explanatory.
Content Warnings: Use trigger warning tags where appropriate. Respect if someone asks you not to share specific content around them.
Adult Themes: Dark or mature themes (violence, trauma, etc.) are encouraged as this is a 21+ RP space with morally grey and more type characters. ERP is only permitted in appropriate/private spaces.
Community Respect: IC rivalries and conflicts are welcome, but they should never bleed into OOC hostility. Separate your character’s voice from your own.

THE TRADE ROUTE. Bridging the verdant Shroud and the misted valleys of Yanxia, Kagami no Mori’s trade route serves as a vital lifeline between East and West. Along its winding paths travel merchants, healers, and wanderers alike, carrying with them bundles of Shroud-grown herbs, Yanxian botanicals, and enchanted trinkets imbued with both forest and flame. The Mori’s Keikan are renowned for their craftsmanship and discretion, offering rare salves, aetheric charms, and ritual wares that balance mortal need with spiritual harmony. Every exchange along the route strengthens the veil’s delicate bridge, where mortal and yokai, healer and wanderer, find common ground beneath mirrored lantern light.
AVAILABILITY. The wares of Kagami no Mori are ever-changing, shaped by the ebb and flow of harvest and aether alike. What blooms in the Shroud’s deep spring may wither by Yanxia’s autumn, and so each shipment bears the mark of its season. Herbs steeped in moonlight, blossoms gathered from mist-veiled ridges, and charms forged under rare celestial alignments may appear only once before the cycle turns anew.

When Haru, the Kekkai-shu of Mori returned to Yanxia, she sought to create more than a refuge, she envisioned balance. With her foxfire as catalyst and the ancient leylines of the land as her guide, she wove a vast aetheric network that softened the barrier between the mortal world and the spirit realm. The result was Kagami no Mori, a living sanctuary where the veil thins but never breaks, allowing mortals and yokai to coexist in quiet harmony. Protected by Haru’s wards and sustained by her flame, the forest stands as a rare meeting ground between two worlds, neither wholly human nor wholly spirit, but something beautifully in between.
Beneath the roots of Kagami no Mori runs a vast network of leylines, resonating with the same ancient pulse that flows through Yanxia’s mountains and rivers. These aetheric veins breathe life into the forest, thinning the veil just enough for the two worlds, mortal and spirit, to brush against one another. Within that shimmered boundary, Mori stands as both sanctuary and sentinel: it welcomes those who seek peace and turns away those who would bring harm.At its heart is Haru, the Kekkai-shu, the veil keeper. Through her craft, she weaves the forest’s aether into wards and pathways, guiding lost souls, yokai, and weary travelers alike toward its gentle light. Her touch ensures the veil remains intact yet pliant, allowing those who walk between, corporeal or otherwise, to find belonging beneath its lantern glow.Kagami no Mori is not merely a forest, but a living boundary between realms, a place where balance is preserved, and all who enter with open intent may call it home.
Kagami no Mori, The Forest of Mirrors, stands as an RP Free Company devoted to those who walk between the veil: Yokai, spirits, and mortals bound by fate and aether alike. Hidden deep within the woven veins of Eorzea’s leylines, the Mori thrives where the currents of aether converge and thin the boundary between the living world and the realm beyond. Here, beneath the watchful glow of countless lanterns, the Mori opens its doors as both trade hub and speakeasy, a crossroads where spirit and mortal may coexist in harmony. Its wares reflect the balance it upholds: herbs and botanicals grown from ley-touched soil, enchanted curios shaped by Yokai craft, and artifacts imbued with the quiet pulse of the Veil itself. Every item, every trade, is a whisper of a deeper connection between the seen and unseen worlds.

The Mori’s leylines act as living veins of aether, a lattice Haru herself wove to stabilize the sanctuary. They breathe life into the land, repel corrupted spirits, and guide wandering souls toward peace. For those attuned to the flow, the ground hums faintly with resonance, and reflections shimmer with more than light, they show what lies between. It is said that when one steps within Kagami no Mori, the air itself feels different, thick with unseen presence yet soothing in its harmony, as though the forest remembers every spirit who has ever crossed its threshold. With the establishment of a medium estate, the Mori will host Hingan and Eastern-inspired gatherings, from spiritual festivals to yokai markets and moonlit rites, continuing its purpose as both haven and bridge for all who walk the liminal path.
